KC Dance Day

Enjoy our 3rd annual KC Dance Day at the Bolender Center from 9:00 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. with FREE dance classes and FREE performances; even an open rehearsal by Kansas City Ballet dancers! The ever-popular local food trucks, including Dog House, Los Tules, New Orleans Style Snow Balls, plus other refreshments, will be on site 9:30 a.m. – 4 p.m.

All events take place at the TODD BOLENDER CENTER, 500 W. PERSHING, just west of Union Station. Download a MAP here.

Classes start at 9:15 a.m. and continue until 4:45 p.m.

Online pre-registration is now closed. Please fill out the waiver form and plan on registering upon arrival at KC Dance Day. Give yourself at least 15 minutes prior to the class that you want to attend.

Only one registration per participant is needed. At KC Dance Day, you will receive a wristband that will allow you access into any free class offering.

Choose from more than 20 FREE dance and movement classes at the Kansas City Ballet School. Classes are available for children ages 3-8 in Creative Movement and Pre-Ballet and for Children’s Ballet for ages 8-11. FREE classes for adults ages 12 and up. There also will be World Dance classes for all ages from Hawaiian, Irish Step, Spanish, African, Mexican and more.

For classes, just wear exercise clothes/shoes and arrive at the Bolender Center 15 minutes before class time to register.
