SUMMER CHILDREN’S CLASSES

(ages 3-18)

Join us for an enriching and educational ballet experience this Summer! Students participating in our summer children’s classes will gain a deeper appreciation for ballet and its rich history through dance classes with our outstanding faculty. Kansas City Ballet offers a variety of Creative Movement, Pre-Ballet, Levels 1, 2 and 3 classes each summer at the Downtown and Johnson County campuses.

Camps for Kids

(ages 3-8)

Give your child the gift of dance this summer as they learn that movement can be FUN!  These four day camps are an excellent way for your child to learn poise, balance, rhythm, taking instruction, and working with others… and all under the guidance of our professional, year-round dance faculty.  Space is limited, so make your reservation now.

JUNIOR STUDIO CLASSES

(Ages 7-12)

Junior Studio classes are designed for students ages 7-12. These youth classes provide quality instruction in a fun environment and include ballet, jazz, tap and hip hop.

2017 SUMMER INTENSIVE

(ages 11-22)

Bolender Center 

For those serious about ballet instruction, come spend your summer with Kansas City Ballet! The five-week Kansas City program offers its students a highly concentrated curriculum at Kansas City Ballet’s award-winning facility, the Todd Bolender Center for Dance & Creativity. Artistic staff and school faculty of Kansas City Ballet combine with renowned guest teachers to create one of the best summer intensive offerings in the country. Come and train in a professional company and school atmosphere.

2017 JUNIOR SUMMER INTENSIVE

(AGES 9-13)

June 5 – June 30, 2017
Johnson County Campus

The Kansas City Ballet School’s Junior Summer Intensive is specifically designed with the young dancer in mind. This four-week program offers students a rigorous and comprehensive study of ballet technique and exposure to a broad variety of dance styles.  All curriculum in this program is presented in a nurturing and positive environment at Kansas City Ballet School’s Johnson County Campus. Students will experience a truly unique program will working with members of the Kansas City Ballet’s artistic staff, nationally acclaimed guest teachers and school faculty.
