Our dancers go through as many as 60 pairs of pointe shoes a year–sometimes one pair per performance. And, at $80 a pair, keeping our company in footwear is no small feat.
Help us keep our dancers doing what they do best: delighting audiences!
Join our annual “Keep Our Dancers on Their Toes” campaign! Support our dancers by providing them the essential footwear they need to perform.
Give and Receive:
• $40: KC Ballet mug
• $80: Autographed pointe shoe and KC Ballet mug
• $125: Backstage experience after a KC Ballet performance, autographed pointe shoe and KC Ballet mug

Kansas City Ballet’s Second Company, made up of KCB II and our Trainee Company, just completed an exciting performance with Pink Martini on the Muriel Kauffman stage at the Kauffman Center this past Sunday.
“This is the most talented second company that I’ve had the privilege to work with,” said Second Company Manager Anthony Krutzkamp. “I’m excited to see what they all do next!”
Upcoming performances are listed below. Click on the links for tickets or more information.

Kansas City Ballet will open the annual “New Moves” program on Friday, April 1 at the Bolender Center. The performances which take place in the Michael and Ginger Frost Studio Theater will run through April 9. Audiences will experience six world-premiere works from six very different choreographers including Jennifer Archibald, Andrew Skeels, and Stephanie Martinez, as well as three company dancers: Sarah Chun, Charles Martin, and Ryan Jolicoeur-Nye.
We had the chance to ask choreographer Jennifer Archibald a few questions about her all-male ballet The Better Man. Archibald, company dancers and staff are pictured below during rehearsal of her piece. Watch the interview and rehearsal of her piece here.
