Get Involved

Welcome to the Kansas City Ballet Guild

Are you looking for ways to get more involved with Kansas City Ballet?  We invite you to JOIN the Kansas City Ballet Guild.  Exciting things are happening, and we’d like you to be a part of it!

The Kansas City Ballet Guild is a group of approximately 150 ballet supporters whose purpose is to promote interest and provide financial assistance to the Ballet. Being a member of our Guild is a wonderful way to meet others who share your interests while supporting the arts in the Kansas City community!  What better way to make friends while helping a cause you love at the same time? Please JOIN us for the first time, or renew your membership, by downloading the membership form.

The Guild meets six times during the year to conduct Guild business and learn more about the art of Ballet. They have special presentations from guest choreographers, dancers and staff who share behind the scenes details of upcoming performances—from music to costuming and staging.  Guild members also attend an exclusive working rehearsal of Kansas City Ballet to see the dancers prepare for an opening night. They socialize and enjoy three fabulous Luncheons in September, December and May. Plus, the Guild raises money for the Ballet through their annual Ballet Ball and Gift Boutique at each Kansas City Ballet performance.

Guild Membership Levels:

  • $50 Active Member
  • $75 Sustaining Member
  • $100 and above Guild Patron
  • $30 KCB School Parent / KCB Staff Member

All members are encouraged to be a Kansas City Ballet season subscriber and attend the annual Ballet Ball.

Guild Fundraising Events
Each year, the Kansas City Ballet Guild presents a not-to-be missed Nutcracker Ball. This premiere social event is attended each year by more than 600 guests. The Ball is the major fundraising event of the Kansas City Ballet and takes place the first Friday of December.

The Guild also sponsors and staffs the Nutcracker Boutique at all Kansas City Ballet performances. Must-have items for sale include KCB T-shirts, dance figurines, accessories, and gifts for little boys and girls! Net proceeds benefit the Kansas City Ballet. To register and volunteer, please visit our Volunteer Registration Center

For photos from our events, please interact with Kansas City Ballet on our social networks.
