Learn how music, special effects and costumes all make magic on stage by attending our pre-curtain talk, the Belger Footnote Series, at the Kauffman Center for the Performings Arts. These informal discussions are free for all ticket holders and are held one hour prior to curtain for Kansas City Ballet repertory shows. Location TBA.

IIDA 5K - Tutu Run

Bring your friends and family (and don't forget your tutu!!) and join IIDA Kansas City in supporting the KC Ballet Scholarship Programs! This 5k Tutu Run/Walk will be chip timed through RaceDay Timing Solutions. 

The Kansas City Ballet Scholarship Programs award financial aid to students who would otherwise be unable to continue their dance education. Modest scholarships are awarded based on merit, however the bulk of the Scholarship Programs centers on Need-Based Assistance. By purchasing a ticket to the IIDA Design Dash, you are contributing directly to these programs and a creative center of Kansas City! Help us sustain the arts and encourage continued success and dedication for the students of the Kansas City Ballet! 

Free event t-shirt, post-race pancake breakfast and prizes for race participants! (T-Shirt can only be guaranteed with registration prior to April 15th.)

Cinderella Tea Party
Baltimore Club / Kauffman Center for the Performing Arts
Join Cinderella on Saturday, May 17 from 11:30 to 1:00 p.m. for a very special Cinderella Tea Party at the Baltimore Club presented by Ameriprise Financial with additional support from Rainy Day Books. Guests will park at the Kauffman Center for the Performing Arts and be transported by coach to Prince Charming's castle at the Baltimore Club. Enjoy a light luncheon, story time with special guest Lara Moritz, a visit from Cinderella, and transportation back to the Kauffman for the 2:00 p.m. matinee performance of Cinderella.

Tickets, priced at $100 each, include transportation, tea party, a special gift for every child from Rainy Day Books, and main floor seats at the matinee performance.

KCB School Spring Performance
Kauffman Center for the Performing Arts
This year’s Kansas City Ballet School (KCBS) Spring Performance is Thursday, May 15 at 7:00 p.m. at the Kauffman Center for the Performing Arts. This performance features students from both the Downtown and Johnson County campuses. Faculty and guest teachers have staged a diverse evening with students from Children’s Level 2 through the pre-professional students in the Kansas City Youth Ballet.

Tickets Required: $20-30 adults, $10 for children 12 years old and under. All tickets are reserved seating. Tickets are available online or by calling the Kansas City Ballet Box Office at 816-931-2232.
