Creative Movement - Ages 3 to 5
Creative Movement (CM 1) - Age 3
Creative Movement (CM 2) - Ages 4 and 5
Children are enrolled based upon their age as of their date of enrollment. This class is designed for children to learn the joy of dance, self-discipline, listening skills, coordination skills, left and right discrimination, patterns in movement, and beginning ballet terms in a structured but fun environment. Classes meet once a week for 45 minutes. See dress code for Pre-Ballet.

Pre-Ballet - Kindergarten through third grade
Pre-Ballet 1 (PB 1) - Kindergarten to second grade
Pre-Ballet 2 (PB 2) - Second and third grades
Pre-Ballet classes are structured for the early development of technical ballet and movement. Classes provide a carefully paced sequence of ballet exercises designed to develop
physical conditioning and enthusiasm for ballet. Classes meet once a week for 45 minutes.
DRESS CODE
Girls– Pale pink leotard—no embellishments or skirts attached, pink footed tights, pink leather full-sole ballet slippers
Boys– White T-shirt tucked into black tights or shorts, black socks with black ballet slippers or white socks with white ballet slippers

Level 1
Level 1 is the first formal level of ballet training. Proper ballet
terminology is reinforced as the students concentrate on building strength and learning correct body placement. This class meets once a week for 60 minutes.
DRESS CODE
Girls– Light blue leotard, pink footed tights and pink leather full-sole ballet slippers
Boys– White T-shirt tucked into black tights or shorts, black socks with black ballet slippers or white socks with white ballet slippers

Levels 2 & 3
Formal training continues as students are required to attend class multiple days per week. Class work continues to focus on building each student’s self-confidence while they learn body strength, coordination and the discipline necessary for learning classical ballet.
DRESS CODE
Girls– Leotard color by level (solid colors only): Level 2 = red; Level 3 = royal blue. Pink convertible tights and full-sole leather pink ballet slippers.
Boys– White T-shirt tucked into black tights, black socks with black ballet slippers or white socks with white ballet slippers

Levels 4 through 7
Formal training continues as students are required to attend class multiple days per week. Pointe work is introduced at Level 4 when each student is ready. Various other dance disciplines including Flamenco (Flam), Conditioning (Cond), Jazz and Modern Dance are also introduced.
DRESS CODE
Girls– Leotard color by level (solid colors only): Level 4 = hunter green; Level 5 = burgundy; Levels 6 and 7 = black. Pink convertible tights, pink ballet slippers and pointe shoes.
Boys– White T-shirt tucked into black tights, black socks with black ballet slippers or white socks with white ballet slippers

Boys / Men's Classes
Boys Class (Level 1-4) is designed to prepare young men in some of the nuances of the male dancer. Male students in Level 4 and up are required to take Men’s Class. They are coached in the elaborate style (bravura) required of the male dancer.
