Budding Ballerinas

Brownie Scouts were "Ballerinas for a Day" on August 9th. Just one of the many community education programs offered by Kansas City Ballet.

On Tuesday, August 9th, 65 enthusiastic Brownie Scouts participated in Kansas City Ballet’s Outreach event, Ballerina for a Day.

The Brownies gathered in the Kansas City Ballet studios to dance, learn a ballet story, wear stage make up and meet some the KCB dancers. They learned ballet class exercises and also had fun creating some of their own steps to match the music that they heard.

According to all indications as they left for the day, a great time was had by all!

Please contact Kansas City Ballet Community Programs Director Linda Martin at lmartin@kcballet.org or 816-931-2232 x315 for more information on outreach programs.
