The mission of Kansas City Ballet is to share the joy of dance with the widest possible audience. The Company has had the opportunity to tour throughout the United States with prestigous engagements in New York City, including performances at the Evening Stars outdoors festival in fall 2006.

Performance Series at New York's Joyce Theatre
March 11-16, 2008
For the third consecutive season The Joyce Theater, New York City’s premiere dance presenter, has invited Kansas City Ballet to appear in New York. Kansas City Ballet will perform their Winter Performance for seven shows at the Joyce, located between midtown and downtown Manhattan in Chelsea.

Kennedy Center Performances
June 12 and 14, 2008
For three performances, Kansas City Ballet will present Todd Bolender’s most acclaimed ballet, The Still Point, with music by Claude Debussy. The Kennedy Center Opera Orchestra will accompany our dancers in this first-time event for the company in the 1,100-seat Eisenhower Theater at The John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts.
