Marketing Internship - Fall 2013
The Kansas City Ballet marketing department accepts applications for internship candidates for spring, summer and fall semesters. The department is currently accepting applications for the fall and winter 2013 semesters.
15-20 hours per week or an agreed upon amount to fulfill the intern’s academic requirements.
The marketing internship program is an opportunity for undergraduate or graduate students in communications, marketing, arts management or a related field to gain valid work experience in the non-profit marketing field. The intern will be responsible for several projects fitting his/her experience and the needs of the marketing department including making social media updates, filming/editing videos, writing newsletter/blog articles, writing promotional material, maintaining department clip files, assisting with special events, assisting in general research and working on special projects.
Candidates must demonstrate strong organizational skills, excellent written and oral communication skills, multi-tasking abilities, must be a team player and work well under pressure, highly competent with Microsoft products, experience with Adobe products is a plus, be available to work events, and be able to life 25-50 pounds.
Parking will be provided for the intern and upon completion of a successful internship, the student will receive two season tickets to the ballet and an excellent addition to his/her resume.
