Nadia Iozzo Born and raised in Toronto, Ms. Iozzo trained at a small school in ballet, tap and jazz. In 2001, she was the first dancer in Ontario in 10 years to be awarded the Royal Academy of Dance Solo Seal Award. Upon graduating from the pre-professional program at the School of Alberta Ballet, Ms. Iozzo danced for four seasons with Alberta Ballet and performed as a soloist in Balanchine's Divertimento #15, Edmund Stripe's contemporary duet Swelter, and Dormouse in Alice in Wonderland. She also enjoys teaching, coaching and adjudicating. This is Ms. Iozzo's first season with Kansas City Ballet.
