Kimberly Cowen Ms. Cowen, a native of St. Louis, Missouri, received most of her ballet training from Nathalie LeVine, with additional training from St. Louis Ballet, Pacific Northwest Ballet and The Joffrey Ballet. Ms. Cowen has danced as Swanilda in Coppélia, Odette in Swan Lake, Titania in A Midsummer Night's Dream, Aurora in The Sleeping Beauty, the title role in Giselle and Carmen. Some of her other favorites include Tchaikovsky Pas de Deux, Flower Festival Pas de Deux, Lento a Tempo e Appassionato, Allegro Brillante, Jardi Tancat, The Still Point, the principal role in Paquita, Aria 1 in Stravinsky Violin Concerto, Hexentanz and Mantis D’ Arabie in ZuZu Lounge. She also teaches at the Kansas City Ballet School. This is Ms. Cowen's 17th season with Kansas City Ballet.
