Geoffrey Kropp Geoffrey Kropp began his ballet training in his hometown of Bakersfield, California. After dancing at the Rock School for Dance Education in Philadelphia for a year, he joined the Professional Division at Pacific Northwest Ballet School. During his two years at PNBS, he performed several ballets with the company including Prodigal Son, The Merry Widow, Carmina Burana, and danced the lead in Paquita in the annual school performance. Since joining Kansas City Ballet, Mr. Kropp has enjoyed performing Twyla Tharp’s The Catherine Wheel Suite, Bruce Marks' Lark Ascending and the principal role in La Fille mal Gardee. He recently completed his second summer dancing with the National Choreographers Initiative. This is Mr. Kropp’s third season with Kansas City Ballet.
