Caitlin Cooney Ms. Cooney, a native of Seattle, trained at Pacific Northwest Ballet School for 11 years on full scholarship. She performed with the company in a variety of ballets including The Nutcracker, Cinderella and Don Quixote. Ms. Cooney spent summers at the School of American Ballet and the Rock School of Pennsylvania. Since joining Kansas City Ballet, some of Ms Cooney's most memorable performances have been in Duets, Lambarena, Nine Sinatra Songs, As Time Goes By, Change of Heart, The Concert, Gingham Shift, ZuZu Lounge, Paquita, Deuce Coupe, Great Galloping Gottschalk, and The Moor's Pavane. Ms. Cooney has also been a guest artist with Ballet Bellevue where she danced as the Mermaid in The Little Mermaid and Swanhilda in Coppelia. This year Ms. Cooney will compete in the Miss Missouri Pageant as Miss Kansas City. This is her sixth season with Kansas City Ballet.
