In August 2011, Kansas City Ballet's Todd Bolender Center for Dance & Creativity became Kansas City Ballet's new home, located downtown at the corner of Pershing and Broadway, just west of Union Station. The facility houses the professional Company, Kansas City Ballet School, 180-seat Studio Theater and Kansas City Ballet's artistic and administrative staff.

Designed by Union Station architect Jarvis Hunt in 1913 and constructed in 1914, the Power House represents an important era in Kansas City history at the turn of the previous century. You may remember it as the former Power House Building for Union Station and the Liberty Memorial. We are happy to return an abandoned building to creative life.
